Inside Honor Society at The 1824: Coffee, Community, and Upcoming Events

06.01.2026

Austin Point is officially home to your new favorite hangout spot. Honor Society at The 1824 is now open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., serving up a delicious menu of coffee, food, and other specialty drinks.

Located at 4805 North Star Trail in Richmond, Honor Society at The 1824 brings artisanal coffee, grab-and-go bites, and a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere to the heart of Austin Point. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink, settling in for a remote work session, or meeting friends on the patio, Honor Society is ready to be part of your everyday routine.

The opening also marks Honor Society’s first expansion since launching its original Tomball café in 2022. Founded by Billy and JoJo Schiel after years of roasting and serving coffee, Honor Society brings its passion for craft coffee, warm hospitality, and locally inspired character to Fort Bend County.

“We knew that if we wanted to take Honor Society to the next level, it would have to be in a place like Austin Point where we can make a real impact as part of the daily energy,” said Billy Schiel, Co-Founder of Honor Society Coffee Co. “Austin Point is building the future of Fort Bend County, and it feels really special for Honor Society to be involved from the very beginning.”

Built for Coffee, Conversation, and Connection

Honor Society at The 1824 offers a full menu of specialty coffee drinks, teas, matcha, cold brew, espresso beverages, and seasonal creations alongside a food menu built for both grab-and-go convenience and longer stays.

Guests can expect signature drinks like the Salty Texan – a sweet-and-salty espresso favorite topped with cinnamon – plus specialty lattes like Flannel Weather, Flower Power, Pretty in Pink, and Coco Loco. The menu also includes fresh salads, paninis, breakfast tacos, baked goods, and Honor Society’s irresistible coffee cake.

And more is on the way. Beer and wine service is expected to be added later this summer, expanding Honor Society at The 1824 into an even more versatile space for the Fort Bend community.

“It’s easy to say a place is community-oriented, but Austin Point is actually building the physical environment for that to happen,” said Billy. “People want spaces outside of home and work where they can gather and feel more connected to one another. That’s what Honor Society has always been about.”

A New Chapter for The 1824

The opening of Honor Society at The 1824 adds another major milestone as Austin Point continues evolving into one of Fort Bend County’s most ambitious new master-planned communities.

While Austin Point’s long-term vision will ultimately be home to 50,000 residents, communal spaces like The 1824 and local businesses like Honor Society help make the community feel active and connected from the start. Austin Point is intentionally creating destinations where people can spend time, build relationships, and feel part of something larger.

And now, that experience officially includes coffee.
